poliedro is a Portuguese architecture practice where time for reflection before any constructive response is the one non-negotiable value.
Founded by Pedro Joaquim, an architect who graduated from the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Lisbon (2014-2020) and has been registered with the Ordem dos Arquitetos since 2021. Since March 2020 he has worked with ARX Portugal Arquitetos, developing projects of different types and scales across all stages.
Since 2024 he has run an independent practice alongside his work at ARX, with housing projects, building rehabilitations and larger-scale feasibility studies. poliedro — Prática de Arquitetura brings together in one place the work and reflection of his personal professional practice.
It is a generalist practice with a territorial and ecological awareness, designing architecture as a space of reconciliation between people and places. It works with rigour to achieve quality and distinctive results that seek to enhance the landscape they belong to.
